I read through your writings and I had a shock; you leave the reader totally to the characters to make him feel and sense. Actually this is very dangerous. Characters most often deceptive, selfish and not trusted; this is why we write about them. You have used, the preferred status of an American writer "leave it to the characters to say every thing". Sometimes I saw you through the dialog but at other times I say in your place a crime. You must and I say must give your reader a safe view and corner, this is your style here but isn't it very risky, to pass something wrong to the unconscious of the reader. The author builds the feelings and senses of the reader not the characters do that. Some times I write about never experienced events, but only to build an attitude within the conscious of the reader, either positive or negative, or simply to say look there you are heading. This is only a sense developed while I was reading. |
